At 10:40 pm last night(Friday) Karen and Nick stepped off of the plane and the first part of our adventure officially ended. Both Karen and Nick slept pretty well last night (nick is still asleep) considering the time changes. Thanks to everyone for their prayers for is sounds like the flights went well and sleeping did occur...Karen will blog later to fill you in. Consider this just the official notification that my precious cargo (wife and child) have made it safely home.

How wonderful to see the beautiful pictures of your family back in the USA. It must be surreal to think this really did happen and it wasn't a weird dream. We can't wait to meet Nick, but we realize there will be an adjustment period, since his life has changed so completely! You continue to be in our prayers that the transition works smoothly.
Congrats! I know it must feel great to have the family together at home. I know the transition to the states will go well.

Yeah!!! What a lovely day for Nick's first day in Kentucky. Karen, hope you rest up and enjoy your helpers while they are here. I know they have been so anxious to see you both. Once you guys are up to visitors, give us a call or e-mail.
